SERVICES
LANDSCAPE & GARDEN DESIGN
From front gardens and intimate courtyards to complete property master plans, I design gardens for each property’s architecture, setting and the way my clients live. My designs pair formal structure with soft, layered planting, with attention to seasonal color, texture, fragrance and year-round interest.
Services include garden consultations, concept plans, planting design, landscape redesigns and full property master plans. I work with trusted landscape and hardscape contractors to bring each design to life, and I stay available to advise through installation.
The design, then the build. A backyard in Charlotte, drawn as a full plan and installed by a trusted contractor partner: a curved walk, bluestone and gravel paths, seat walls, and layered planting.
FROM PLAN TO GARDEN
HISTORIC & HERITAGE GARDENS
Some gardens deserve to be restored, not reinvented. I research a garden’s original plan and planting, then design a restoration faithful to its history and suited to how it will be cared for today.
Current work: the centennial restoration of the Wing Haven upper garden.
FOR LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS
I partner with a small number of landscape firms as their design resource, from concept plans through planting and container specifications.
OUTDOOR ROOMS & GARDEN-INSPIRED INTERIORS
Where the garden meets the home. I design porches, terraces, pool houses, sunrooms, conservatories and garden rooms, along with interiors that draw on the garden beyond.
I favor natural materials, botanical textiles and wall coverings, outdoor furnishings built to last, lighting and antiques, for rooms that feel collected and comfortable.
Services may include space planning, furnishings, textiles, lighting, wall coverings, decorative finishes and styling.
