My love of gardens began early, planting flowers and vegetables with my mom and hunting for wildflowers on family trips to America's national parks. We’ve always been drawn to the gardens of England and France: their structure, their layered planting and their sense of discovery and romance. Living in Rome, Geneva and Hong Kong, and years of travel, landscape design coursework and time spent in gardens here and abroad, shaped how I design.

I founded Maison Jardin after years of designing gardens and rooms for my own home. I also practice corporate law, and I bring the same rigor to design: careful research, precise plans, close attention to detail and clear communication. It’s also why I take on a limited number of projects at a time. My work ranges from private and public gardens, including the Wing Haven upper garden restoration, to garden-inspired interiors. I source directly from makers in France, Italy and England.

I love interesting plants, beautiful materials, unexpected color and the occasional antique that gives a space a little personality. My goal is simple: spaces as enjoyable to live in as they are beautiful to look at.
